Dark hair is best hair. Maybe highlights if it needs it.

I have a dark brown, I was thinking of getting light brown highlights just to style it more.

With hair like that your gonna get raped :3

EMOOOOOO

kawaii desu

Moe moe moe!!!

I fucking hate emo hair

It's not really emo, more or less just long.

If you're trying it there's some things you ought to know.

There's a transition period of two weeks to a month. During that your hair will be more oily than normal. The baking soda/ apple cider vinegar option is for straight hair that tends to be oily, other options are available for curly etc. hair.

You'll have to stop using hair styling products (only shampoo can wash it out) but your hair will become more managable. Wash any out with your usual shampoo before starting.

If you swim in a chlorine pool you'll need shampoo to get it out.

If you have dandruff a dandruff shampoo might suit your needs better (it's a trade off between scalp and hair really).

Remember as with shampoo not to wash your hair daily, only as needed.

You should wet your hair with hot/ warm water, 'shampoo' it, rinse out with hot/ warm water, 'condition' your hair, and rinse out with the coldest water you can stand. As with shampoo the ends should get the least amount, as with conditioner the ends should get the most.

Oh.

The only ratio I could find for water:baking soda was 6:1. You might need higher or lower but try starting there. That's 1 ounce:2 teaspoons, scale up or down as needed.

For water:apple cider vinegar I haven't found a specific ratio but here, this is from a website. "How do I use the apple cider vinegar for conditioner? I put a couple tablespoons in a plastic cup and fill the rest with water, pour on my head, work it in and rinse it out really well." Apple cider vinegar smells. Bad. If you can smell it after rinsing your hair/ it dries you're using too muxh of it and need to lower the ratio. You probably don't need as much 'conditioner' as the person I quoted (I don't think /I/ need that much and I have long hair) so you may want to scale down the ratio.

I think that's everything.

Oh, if you want a less extreme transition try this:

1. Wash out styling products/ leave in conditioners with a shampoo with sulfates (damages hair but it's all that washes them out).

2. No more hair styling products/ leave in conditioners.

3. Switch over to a no sulfate shampoo and conditioner without... crap I forget what.

4. Every time you shampoo top the bottle off to dilute it.

5. Once it's empty/ near enough make the switch.

Also, be my fan!

Shure! :D

*top the bottle off /with water/.

Also yay fans.

You don't appreciate me.
